No online class can replace professional in-person training, but they can provide a solid foundation of techniques and skills to practice on your own time.
Yes! Our Official Texas License to Carry Class is certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety. You’ll learn about Texas LTC laws, firearm safety, and handgun proficiency. At the completion of this course, you will receive an official LTC-104 certificate of completion.
Accessing your class is easy! Follow these steps:
- Check your email for account info with temporary password.

- Select your course to begin learning.
Your username will always be the email address used to register for the class. If you need to reset your password, select “Forgot Password” from the My Account page.

Purchases are eligible for refunds under the following conditions:
- The class has not been started
- No certificate has been issued
- Refund is requested within 30 days of purchase

Certificates
All paid classes include a certificate upon successful completion of the course. A certificate for the free Basic Gun Safety class can be purchased before or after the course is completed.
Once a class is completed, certificates are automatically emailed and can be downloaded from the main class page as well.
Certificates should have a “Certificate ID” at the bottom right-hand corner. This is a unique identification number that can be used to verify student course completion.
By scanning the certificate QR code or going to the below link and entering the certificate ID, you can verify student course completion information.
Certificates are valid for 1 year after course completion.
Court Orders
Potentially, it just depends on your court order. Not all court orders are the same. Although our Basic Gun Safety class has worked for many to fulfill a court ordered gun safety class, it is not specifically approved for any jurisdictions/courts.
If there are no specific requirements listed for your court ordered gun safety class, then it may qualify. If the court order specifies a time requirement or certain required training materials or anything else specific, it is up to you to determine if the online class will work.
Refunds cannot be issued once a certificate is purchased and issued.
Often times, the court order itself will list requirements for a gun safety class to qualify. If no requirements are listed, our Gun Safety 101 class may be able to fulfill your class requirement.

At this time, the Texas License to Carry a Handgun online class is our only state certified course. Although it is a Texas license, the class can be completed by anyone, anywhere.

Technical Support
Earned certificates can be downloaded from the My Account page.
Select the class, then select “Download Certificate”. Once a class is completed, certificates are automatically emailed as well. All certificates are in PDF format.
Once a class has been completed, name changes/corrections must be requested through technical support. Please contact us with any updates needed to your account or certificate.
