Joel is the owner and lead firearms instructor for Blue Line LTC LLC, which consists of LTC Austin, OnlineTexasLTC.com, and GunSafetyTrainingPro.com. Starting in 2018, Joel began teaching firearms and LTC classes while working as a police officer and training instructor for the Austin Texas Police Department. While working for the Austin PD from 2012-2020, Joel gained real world experience and training as an instructor and student. After leaving the police department in 2020, Joel has been teaching firearms and tactics full time as well as continuing his own training and personal development.

It contained a lot of excellent information, and as I had hoped, was worth both the time and the money I invested. I’d like to note (in case it will be useful to others) that I have been actively using firearms of all types since first passing my Hunter’s Safety Course more than 30 years ago. I have hunted all different types of wild game. I became licensed to carry in my state more than 10 years ago. I’ve also taken and passed a multi-state concealed carry class, have received instruction from numerous professionals over the last two decades, and have competed in events with pistol, rifle, and shotgun. My point is this: I still gained knowedge from this course.

The wait time between each video was too long especially having a toddler having to chase after while taking this course for court. Someone put a gun in my bag and I had no idea it was in there and went through TSA so I had to take this course. Some of the answers were correct though it said they were wrong. My husband used to work with the Navy special ops teams and he agreed the answer to one particular question was 10000% correct but the test had it wrong, I screen shot it and asked chatgpt and even chat said the test was wrong which can be dangerous. Other than that it was good.
