Texas Level II & III Private Security Online Class

This online class fulfills the classroom training requirement for Texas level II and level III private security licensing under the Texas Private Security Program.

1. Course outline for note taking – this is the same material in the powerpoint slides to assist with following along and taking notes.
2. DPS Level III Student Guide – this contains all of the material required by Texas DPS for the level III class.
3. DPS Level II Student Guide – this contains all of the material required by Texas DPS for the level II class.

Progress is saved as videos/sections are “marked complete”. Once “marked complete”, you can leave and come back as needed to complete the course at your own pace.

Each section is followed by a knowledge check. You cannot proceed to the next section until the knowledge check is passed with an 80% or better score. Unlimited attempts to pass the knowledge checks are allowed. The end of the course consists of the DPS required level II and III final tests. A 70% or better score is required to pass these tests with 3 attempts to pass allowed.

It is your responsibility to understand and go through all of the course content, material, and watch all of the videos. After the complete of this course, you will need to complete the required in-person training for the level III licensing.
